Scanivalve Digital Sensor Arrays are compact, Standalone modules for gas or liquid pressure measurement.
Data can be timestamped and is transmitted in user-selectable engineering units via Ethernet TCP/IP protocols.

Scanivalve Miniature ZOC modules are high frequency analogue pressure scanners designed to be installed inside scale models for wind tunnel research. Scanivalve ZOC modules interface to DSM or E-RAD service modules  to form a complete pressure and temperature measurement system. Alternatively, these modules can be ordered with 0-2.5V or 0-5V DC outputs to work with customers’ in-house data acquisition systems.

19″ Rack Mount

Each DSA rack-mount enclosure accepts up to 8 DSA3016 pressure scanning modules. Each module is hot-swappable, requiring no system shutdown to change pressure ranges and incorporates 16 temperature-compensated pressure sensors for a total of 128 pressure channels. Scan rate is 625 samples per channel per second.

The advantages of this system are the temperature compensation, its low data latency, and quick startup times.

Communications interfaces are Ethernet or Serial RS-232.
The DSA4000 comes furnished with a micro SD card which can be used for data storage and is easily removeable.

Pressure Calibration

The Scanivalve SPC4000 is a custom pressure calibrator based upon the highly successful Mensor CPC 6000 automated pressure calibrator.

The SPC4000 allows fully automated multi-point and zero-offset calibrations of ZOC and DSA pressure scanners and has special programmed functions and incorporates a Scanivalve Pneumatic Logic Unit controller.

This unit has all the ease-of-use and advantageous features of the Mensor CPC 6000 with the added benefit of a custom implementation specifically designed for Scanivalve modules.

Temperature

Scanivalve DTS3250 Digital Thermocouple Scanners accept either 16, 32, or 64 of type E, J, K, N, R, S, T, or B.

They all come with 50-60 Hz noise rejection and 1000 VDC input isolation to ensure reliable data.

Scan rate for these units is 640 Hz (meaning 40 samples per channel per second for the 16 channel unit) and output is via Ethernet protocol.

Maximum accuracy is ±0.25°C depending on thermocouple type.

Uniform Temperature Reference

The UTR-P (Uniform Temperature Reference) module accepts 16 pairs of thermocouple wires, and incorporates an isothermal block as the reference temperature. These compact self contained rugged modules serve as cold junctions for the standard thermocouple types E, J, K, S, R, T, & N.

The Scanivalve Digital Service Module, the DSM4000 is the latest addition to our lineup of pressure scanning equipment. This is the first Scanivalve A/D module to support the ARINC429 protocol making compact Scanivalve equipment suitable for flight test instrumentation.

The DSM4000 offers several advantages over the previous model, notably:
No Windows-based operating system – offers real-time operation and significantly faster boot times
Smaller and Lighter package.
No Moving Parts and ruggedized enclosure for flightworthiness.

E-RAD4000

The Scanivalve ERAD4000 is a compact, modular A/D module designed for the Scanivalve ZOC scanner system. The E-RAD is generally placed directly inside a wind tunnel model, close to the ZOC scanners and allows a single Ethernet cable output from the model instead of messy multi-cable umbilicals.

The E-RAD utilizes a modular A/D system which allows between 1 and 8 A/D modules to be installed in a single RAD base, reducing overall system cost for smaller systems and making maintenance of larger systems much faster, easier, and less costly.

This DSA rack-mount module scans 16 channels of ± 20 mV to 5V DC inputs at 625 samples per channel per second. This module is excellent for signal conditioned thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, or individual transducers used in conjunction with a Scanivalve pressure scanning system.

Additional circuits can be installed in the factory to provide excitation to the customer’s specification for connected equipment.
