A compact digital pressure transfer standard, the Paroscientific model 745 is perfect for laboratory and metrological applications.
Because of the extreme stability of Paroscientific’s transducers, Environment Canada has selected this unit to check and calibrate airport barometers across the country. Available Ranges: Barometric, 0-15 through 0-40,000 psia, 0-15 through 0-200 psig NIST-Traceable calibration certificates |
Portable Pressure Standards![]() Click Here for datasheet |
A ruggedized portable pressure transfer standard, the Paroscientific model 765 is ideal for field applications requiring high precision and accuracy. The Paroscientific 765 is used extensively throughout Canada’s North for remote airstrips and scientific expeditions. Available Ranges: Barometric, 0-15 through 0-40,000 psia, 0-15 through 0-200 psig NIST-Traceable calibration certificates |

The same electronics and display used in the 745 Laboratory Standards are available for use with Paroscientific’s frequency and intelligent pressure transducers.
These are generally used for high- and low- temperature applications where the electronics or display could be damaged by environmental conditions but the sensor itself may not. |
Pressure Transducers
Intelligent![]() Click Here for datasheet |
Paroscientific series 1000, 6000, and 9000 intelligent pressure transmitters are highly stable and fully thermally compensated throughout their operating range. Available Ranges: Barometric, 0-15 through 0-40,000 psia, 0-15 through 0-200 psig NIST-Traceable calibration certificates |
| Frequency Output |
Paroscientific piezoresonant quartz pressure transducers transmit a pressure signal as a percentage change in frequency in the 30-42 kHz band. A temperature signal is also found in the 168-172 kHz band. Paroscientific’s Frequency output transducers are commonly used in OEM applications or with the model 735 intelligent display for harsh environment monitoring. Available Ranges: Barometric, 0-15 through 0-40,000 psia, 0-15 through 0-200 psig NIST-Traceable calibration certificates Click Here for more information

| Depth Sensors |
Paroscientific depth transducers are used in a wide variety of applications from towed arrays and ROVs to tectonic research and tsunami detection. The nano-resolution sensors can detect a change in water level of as little as 0.1 mm from a depth of 7 km. The unique anti-fouling port on the Paroscientific Series 8000 depth transducers ensures high accuracy over long periods of operation. Both intelligent and frequency models are available in all ranges. Housings are either PVC, Acetal, or Stainless Steel depending on pressure range. Available Ranges: 0-10 through 0-7,000 meters of water absolute, 0-10 through 0-140 meters of water gauge NIST-Traceable calibration certificates |
Meteorological Systems
MET4(A)![]() Click Here for datasheet |
Paroscientific manufactures a precision weather station called the MET4. This Broadband Meteorological Measurement System takes extremely accurate pressure, temperature, and humidity readings and logs over 200,000 data points for later retrieval. The MET4 makes use of a proprietary pressure port engineered to reduce the dynamic effects of wind on the barometric readings. The MET4A is a fan-aspirated model which provides greater accuracy and stability of the temperature and humidity readings over time. Barometric Range: 50 to 110 kPa |
| Barometry Standards |
Paroscientific manufactures high accuracy, high stability standalone Barometry standards in various form factors. Digital indicators and intelligent transducers are equally popular. Paroscientific barometers are pressure sensors with special ranges and extra high accuracy crystals. |
