The CPU 5000 calibrator unit improves measurement accuracy of deadweight testers by compensating for the effects of Temperature, Humidity, Local Gravity, etc.
This standalone unit does not heat the precision components of your deadweight tester.

The Desgranges et Hout CPB 6000 (Formerly DH model 5000) is used world wide as a primary pressure transfer standard.
Special spring-balanced low-volume valve assemblies with simple on/off indication provide extremely high levels of reliability and accuracy compared to standard soft-seat needle valves.
Piston float indicator allows optimal accuracy and precise fluid head correction.

Offering Uncertainties as low as 20 ppm this is the ultimate in manual deadweight tester.
Available Pneumatic ranges from 5 kPa to 100 MPa (14,500 psi)
Hydraulic ranges from 200 kPa to 500 MPa (72,500 psi)

CPD8000

The DH CPD 8000 (Formerly known as the DPG10) is the world’s most accurate digital pressure indicator, combining a high-end piston-cylinder assembly with a metrology grade load cell.
With a Total Uncertainty to 20 ppm of reading the CPD 8000 actually out-performs most traditional deadweight testers with all the functionality of a digital transfer standard.

One of the major advantages of the CPG 8000 is the independent vacuum reference, which allows multi-point absolute calibration without the need to break the reference vacuum, unlike a conventional bell-jar deadweight tester. This saves a large amount of time and uncertainty.

Available in multiple ranges from 0 – 7,250 psig to 0 – 725 psia.
Two-point Self-calibrations are carried out via an internal standard mass and can be started manually, remotely or pre-programmed to start automatically at a given interval.
External pressure generation is required and these units operate only with clean dry gas.
The CPG 8000 now interfaces directly with the Mensor CPC 8000 controller via RS-232. Alternatively, a 550C gauge comparator can be used to provide an extremely fast and stable calibration system.

Accuracy Statements

Total Uncertainty is the most comprehensive statement of a device’s performance.
Total Uncertainty takes into account all factors which could effect the pressure reading including mechanical tolerances, thermal expansion, buoyancy of masses in air and uncertainty of the reference calibration standard.
Total Uncertainty is usually expressed in parts per million of reading.
200 ppm is 0.020%.

DH-Budenberg guarantees the total uncertainty of their industrial units for readings above 10% of the range of the active piston, after correction had been made for ambient temperature, humidity, variation in local gravity, etc.

UKAS is an independant accreditation body in the UK and will certify individual pieces of DH-Budenberg equipment.
UKAS provides special calibration certificates and correction coefficients for greater traceable accuracy than DH-Budenberg can themselves provide.
